"To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart. It's a way of life."
--Henri Cartier-Bresson

Every picture tells a story, and photography tells stories in a way nothing else can.

The chance to reach someone, or even better, reach "into" someone with photography has inspired many "shooters" through out the years.

The "hardware" of photography has developed with astonishing speed. It will continue to allow photographers to explore their "vision" as technology pushes ahead.

I love documentary photography. Both Photojournalists and documentary photographers have told the world's stories from the Civil War to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Many of them shoot a countless number of photographs and images as they "sketch" the world around them.

Welcome to my sketchbook. Enjoy your visit.
